At The Indoor Dog Park, we believe play should be more than just “letting dogs loose.” Our 6-week Play With Purpose course is designed to help dogs develop healthy social skills while teaching owners to read, manage, and confidently support off-leash interactions. Inspired by the principles in Off-Leash Dog Play, this course focuses on safe, structured, and intentional play. What We’ll Cover: Understanding healthy play vs. over-arousal Reading canine body language and consent signals Matching play styles and preventing conflict Teaching reliable recalls during play Helping dogs disengage and reset Managing multi-dog group dynamics Building calmness before, during, and after play Each class includes a short educational discussion followed by coached, structured play sessions where you’ll practice real-time skills with professional guidance. Who This Course Is For: Dogs who enjoy off-leash play but need better manners Dogs who get over-excited or struggle to disengage Owners who want to feel more confident managing social situations By the end of the program, you and your dog will have the tools to navigate off-leash play safely, calmly, and confidently — whether at the park, in public, or during group play sessions. 🐶 Small group format 🐾 Guided play + education each week 🎓 Graduation recognition at completion
