Overnight Custodian

Our job is to demonstrate and promote how The Indoor Dog Park solves a key day-to-day need in the community - providing a safe, clean, comfortable, and fun place to play with your dog. We approach business in a nimble and agile way - changing the game for dogs and their parents, making safety our top priority, and letting our state-of-the-art facilities, amenities, and technology speak for itself.

 

As a Custodian, you are responsible for key activities that make The Indoor Dog Park a safe and clean staple in the community. You will be working directly and closely with Ownership, Management, and will sometimes interact with Members of the Park. Your role is critical in our mission to maintain an impeccable impression by keeping the facility pristine. Cleanliness is critical to The Indoor Dog Park brand and the safety of our members.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and presentable facility, which includes, but is not limited to the following activities:

  • Vacuum and brush turf

  • Skim and brush pool

  • Vacuum and mop lobby area

  • Clean breezeway carpet

  • Sanitize surfaces

  • Garbage collection and replenish supplies, as needed

• Assist with seasonal deep cleaning efforts or other special projects, as necessary

 

Job Qualifications

• Ability to work overnight hours during low-use times

• Must be able to lift 75lbs, endure continual standing and moving, able to move in different positions including bending and twisting to accomplish tasks, and able to handle cleaning equipment

• Must have the ability to work independently, producing detailed work with accuracy

• Demonstrates comfort with dogs

• Proficient use and access to a mobile device for team messaging (Slack App - training provided)

• Reliably commute to or plan to relocate near Cranberry Township before start date

• At least 18 years or older

• The Indoor Dog Park is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, including holidays. Overnight custodians may encounter customers at the Park during their shift.

• An appropriate work-life balance is important to us. This position allows for flexible schedules. A set schedule will be determined with the appropriate candidate prior to execution of the employment agreement. In addition to the agreed-upon schedule, extended hours may be available from time to time, but are not required.

• Time off is permitted with advance notice according to the Employee Handbook

• All employees receive complimentary Memberships for their dogs that pass a Temperament Session
